Who's Who?
LISC
BARALE, RON NOAVA Program Manager for LISC. Ron originally suggested to TME that we "bank" our hours by sharing the financial risk for the Live Test Demonstration portion of the VA requirements. The arrangement was for us to be paid $35 per hour for all hours worked after the award of the contract to LISC. He also suggested that TME have "first Right of Refusal" whereby we would have the opportunity to create all Computer-Based Training and On-Line Tutorials for the life of the NOAVA contract. BRASIER, BUD Business Operations Manager DONOVAN, CLAIRE LISC Contracting Officer. She was aware of the agreements between LISC and TME all the time, and confessed to knowing that the operations and policies were not correct, but felt compelled to comply with the orders of her managers. Personal conversations with her revealed that she was morally opposed to LISC actions against TME. DOUGHERTY, DENNIS NOAVA Program Engineer COLLINS, TIM NOAVA Program Engineer ETTER, DAVE LISC Training Manager. Etter was perhaps the closest person to TME software development activities with LISC. As the Training Manager, he was responsible for coordinating all classroom and computer-based instruction for the entire NOAVA program. Etter liked TME and felt very bad about what upper management required of him. He continually attempted to keep TME involved in LISC activities (as evidenced by his many attempts at SOWs, etc.), but was stopped by upper management. Etter became a primary internal source for information about the illegal and racist actions of LISC because he was morally offended by them. HOFFMAN, TODD LISC NOAVA Program Manager, Washington D.C. HULSE, MEL LISC Engineeer. Responsible for evaluating technology for the NOAVA program. JANSSEN, JIM Unclear. Worked with Barbara Kursteiner KERR, MICHAEL Subcontracts Manager who arrived at LISC in 1991. Mike was extremely hostile towards TME and actively sought to eliminate it from the NOAVA program. He was the highest ranking Lockheed employee at LISC, and apparently reported to the Lockheed Missiles and Space Company. SMITH R.W. Quality Assurance STEIGER, GENE LISC Division President. He was responsible for all LISC operations. STONE, BARBARA NOAVA Adaptive Sales & Support. She was in charge of products tof disabled and handicapped VA users. TRICE, ANDY LISC Documentation Manager. Andy Trice worked most closely with TME in the beginning of the working relationship between the two companies. Trice was in charge of making sure that the NOAVA proposal was delivered correctly to the VA. Trice became an internal source for information about the illegal and racist actions of LISC.
